Isaiah 2:3 (New International Version)
This is a Bible study ministry focused on the prophetic words of God not yet fulfilled.
“What in the world is going on?”
This is a phrase used all to frequently in our world today. It refers to our attempt to try and understand the things that are occurring in our world that we can’t make sense of. From political strife, geopolitical upheaval, global drumbeats of war, groaning of creation as seen in the increase of global weather anomalies, and the rampant rise of immorality and deception.
Christ spoke of each of these events in His Olivet Discourse when He taught his disciples what would occur in the last days of this current age.
Besides Christ, the wisest man to ever walk the earth was King Solomon. He once stated that all of life was absolutely meaningless with all its empty pursuits, except when God is acknowledged. Then life is filled with meaning and happiness because of Him.
So it is also with the signs in our time. When we acknowledge God and the truth in His words, we come understand what is happening in our world today. We can pursue mankind’s opinions, thoughts and theories, but they’re all meaningless and end up no where.
Acknowledging God and what He’s trying to tell us in His word is what will help us to understand that the world is not falling apart, but all the pieces are falling perfectly into place.
This is our focus at Bible Study Simply. We look at the current events of our world and examine them through the words of God to understand why the things that are happening must occur.
Our goal is put this into a Bible Study format for individuals or groups offering all the resources you’ll need to understand God’s prophetic word. It’s our goal to keep all these resources free to anyone who wants to use them.
We’re currently adding new content daily as we build out this project. We hope you’ll visit often and it becomes an easy and free resource to helping you on your journey to understanding the world today as God wants us to see it.
Why Bible Prophecy?
My many years, my focus has been to study and teach Bible prophecy. Close to one third of the Bible is prophetic. Unfortunately, Bible prophecy is not being taught by pastors at the pulpit on Sundays. It leaves many people without any true understanding of God’s most important message for us today.
The further you study and come to understand Bible prophecy, you realize that all of the things spoken of by the prophets, the disciples and Jesus are all converging right before our eyes. The intensity and frequency of prophetic events is also increasing rapidly, just as Jesus spoke of during His Olivet Discourse on the Mount of Olives on the Tuesday before He would be handed over to be crucified.
The Best Bible Prophecy Interpretation
We use the New International Version (NIV) in all the resources we offer here at Bible Study Simply.
When we interpret scripture through the lens of scripture, we begin to learn that God is not a God of confusion. He’s a God who loves us and finds pleasure in our efforts to understand His message for us. He does not make it confusing.
Bible Study Simply is meant to simply point to scripture to help us understand scripture. With a little time and the blessing of the Holy Spirit in opening your hearts and minds to His word, amazing things will happen in your life.
If we allow the lens of the world to muddy the waters of scripture interpretation, we get a distorted, confusing and false understanding of the Word of God. God offers two blessings to those who read, study and share the book of Revelation with others. A book that many believe is to complicated to understand, let alone teach others.
This is false. Scripture is meant to be read and understood literally not allegorically. When you open yourself up to an allegorical understanding of God’s Word, then anyone can shape the meaning to be whatever you want it to be.
Rather than conforming our lives to Christ, we try to create a Christ that conforms to our desires. This is the reason why we have hundreds if not thousands of so called Christian churches across the globe.
If everyone took God’s word as it’s meant to be, literally, then there would only be one Christian church. But they don’t and so there isn’t. There is only one God, therefore there is only one truth! It’s the one truth that never changes. And Christ is still the only way to salvation. Not Christ and something else, but Christ alone.
Thank you for visiting!
